SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Otto R. Wille Jr. of Crystal Lake, who passed away on September 9, 2016; and

WHEREAS, Otto Wille Jr. was born in Harvard to Otto Sr. and Irene (Peterson) Wille on November 6, 1953; he served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1974; he married Karen Irving in Crystal Lake on November 11, 1972; and

WHEREAS, Otto Wille Jr. worked for Harms Grain Equipment in Marengo for over 30 years as a service manager; and

WHEREAS, Otto Wille Jr. was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Philip Irving; and

WHEREAS, Otto Wille Jr. is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karen; his daughter, Janice (Mike) Laffoon; his grandchildren, Jeremy, and Jessica; his brothers and sisters, Sue (Barrie) Henkel, Sandy (Randy) Tegtman, Katie (Randy) Stading, Dave (Lori) Wille, Kelly (Dale) Westphal, and Jodi Schultz; several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law, Lorraine (Clarence) Grischow; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Otto R. Wille Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Otto Wille Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
