SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lillian Marie Szostak of Gurnee, who
4passed away at the age of 85; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lillian Szostak served as an assistant nurse in a
6delivery room; she was also a caregiver to the elderly and
7infirm and a tireless volunteer at many charitable
8organizations; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Lillian Szostak was preceded in death by her
10parents, Arthur and Lily Dorband, and her brothers, Alan, Bob,
11and Clarence; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Lillian Szostak is survived by her sons, Michael
13(Anne), David (Janet), Martin (Mary), Gerry (Bernice), Steven
14(Dawn), and Tim (Maureen); her grandchildren, Jonathan
15(Maria), David (Karly), Cali (Josh), Charles, Laura, Frances
16(Jon), Donna, Peter, Alicia, Justine, Matthew, Nicole,
17Jeffrey, Adam, Caroline, Amy, and Ellen; her
18great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Rosemarie, Emily, Joshua,
19Adelina, Lillianna, Caleb, Davie Jane, Chase, and Cora; and her
20brother, Don Dorband; therefore, be it
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Lillian Marie Szostak;
3and be it further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Lillian Szostak as an expression of
6our sympathy.
