| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Goldie M. Withrow of McHenry, who passed | 4 | | away on November 15, 2016, at the age of 75; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Goldie Withrow was born in Banco, West Virginia to | 6 | | Joseph and Polly (Mayhone) Freeman in 1941; she married Sonny | 7 | | Withrow in 1957 and they resided in McHenry for over 50 years; | 8 | | and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Goldie Withrow worked at Baxter in the plastics | 10 | | division; later, she worked as the radiology receptionist at | 11 | | Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital; for the last 20 years, she was | 12 | | employed as the bookkeeper for Water Works in Johnsburg; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Goldie Withrow was affiliated with the | 14 | | Pentecostal Church in Lakemoor; she loved to travel, cook, and | 15 | | enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens with her | 16 | | husband; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Goldie Withrow was preceded in death by her | 18 | | parents; her daughter, Polly Kuecker; her sisters, Pauline, | 19 | | Margie, Betty, and Dotty; and her brothers, Joseph, Sammy, | 20 | | Curtis, Billy, and Donald; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Goldie Withrow is survived by her husband of 59 | 2 | | years, Sonny; her children, Larry (Cathy) Withrow, Pat (David) | 3 | | Ours, Danny (Lory) Withrow, and Brian (Cherie) Withrow; her | 4 | | grandchildren, Amanda, Eliot "Lil Bit", Aaron, Joey, and | 5 | | Michael; her sisters, Edna (George) Garbacz, Patsy Buchner, and | 6 | | Lucy (Larry) Mauch; her brother, Herman (Barbara) Freeman; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Goldie M. Withrow, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 12 | | further
