SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David "Dave" Lamb of Elburn, who passed away on April 12, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Dave Lamb was born in Lakewood, Ohio on September 28, 1955 to Edward and Norma (nee Nordestgaard) Lamb; he graduated from Rocky River (Ohio) High School in 1973, where he was a star on the baseball diamond; he graduated cum laude from the University of Cincinnati; he married Cindy Austin in 1980; and

WHEREAS, Dave Lamb began working for the Morse Company in Ithaca, New York; he then moved to Aurora to work for SealMaster and saw many places throughout the country as he was transferred from location to location; he also worked as a home inspector and as a salesman for Jason Industrial in Carol Stream; and

WHEREAS, After the passing of his wife, Cindy, Dave Lamb married Terry Humphrey on October 25, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Dave Lamb enjoyed golfing, country music, Fox News, and driving his 1994 Corvette; and

WHEREAS, Dave Lamb was preceded in death by his parents; his former wife, Cindy Lamb; and his favorite 4-legged friend, a real big dog named Kiwi; and

WHEREAS, Dave Lamb is survived by his wife, Terry; his 6 children, Bill (Mary Chris) Lamb, J.D. (Kari) Lamb, David (Deanne) Lamb, Kevin Lamb, Angela Humphrey, and Zack Lamb; his 2 furry children, a Cocker Spaniel named Buddy and a Sheltie named Mango; his 3 grandchildren, Ethan Lamb, Lindsey Lamb, and Madelyn Lamb; his 4 siblings, Karen (Tony) Ambrozic, Debbie (John) DeArmon, Jim Lamb, and Kris (Joe) Walsh; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that span the entire country; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David "Dave" Lamb, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dave Lamb as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
