SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jack F. "Boomer" Whitlow of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 25, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was born on November 22, 1944; his parents Floyd Whitlow and Eleanor Doretti; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was a graduate of Waukegan High School; he subsequently attended Marquette University; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was employed at Cornerstone Realty, the Fred W. Losch Beverage Company, and Prudential Insurance; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was an avid sports fan and loved played softball and golf; he also won an MVP softball award and was a part of many championship softball teams; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Jack Whitlow is survived by 3 children, Blake (Carmin), Casey (Alsena), and Toby (Janae Strumberger); 7 grandchildren, Brett, Taylor, Jordan, Shelbie, Breyen, Samantha, and Trevor; a brother, Phillip (Myra); a sister, Karen (Joe) O'Brien; and his lifetime friends, Jim Conn and Ellen Bosman; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jack F. "Boomer" Whitlow; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jack Whitlow as an expression of our sympathy.
