SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Isabelle D. Yunowich of Spring Grove, who passed away on May 8, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was born on September 1, 1918 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin; her parents were Matthew and Martha (nee Chileski) Wilkowski; she married Edward Yunowich on September 22, 1939 in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich and her husband were the owners and operators of Isabelle's Restaurant in Richmond for 40 years until her retirement in 1976; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was a member of the McHenry County Tavern Keepers Association; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, occasional trips to the casino, and the occasional scotch and soda; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; 5 sisters, Jean Goodman, Marie Litwitz, Clara DeZanet, Agnes Flentze, and Sophie Wilcoski; and 5 brothers, Steven, Emil, Leo, Herman, and Robert; and

WHEREAS, Isabelle Yunowich is survived by 2 daughters, Bonnie (Lester) Pryor and Isabel "Darlene" Ryan; 2 grandchildren, Anthony (Jenny) Pryor and Tara (Michael) Epping; and 6 great-grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Pryor and Trevor, Tayler, Ashley, and Jared Epping; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Isabelle D. Yunowich; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Isabelle Yunowich as an expression of our sympathy.
