SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John F. Hartnett; and

WHEREAS, John Hartnett served his country as a member of the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, John Hartnett was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School's Class of 1954; and

WHEREAS, John Hartnett served as an agent at Allstate Insurance for many years; and

WHEREAS, John Hartnett was the beloved husband of Kay (nee Mahoney); the loving father of Michael, Martin, Sean (Shannon), and Margaret Markovic; the proud grandfather of Hannah, Kate, and Sarah Hartnett and Allison and Aidan Markovic; the dear brother of Mary (the late Phil) Saigh and the late Jerome Hartnett; the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; and the fond cousin of many in Ireland; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of John F. Hartnett; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Hartnett as an expression of our sympathy.
