SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Jason Robert Dahlmann, who passed away on
4August 22, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jason Dahlmann was born in Libertyville on
6September 11, 1981 to Robert and Marilyn (nee Bentley)
7Dahlmann; he graduated from Prairie Ridge High School and
8attended McHenry County College; he served in the United States
9Marine Corps as part of Force Recon special operations in the
10Middle East; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Jason Dahlmann had a dedication and passion to
12further serve veterans; he worked in the McHenry County College
13(MCC) Office of Financial Aid and Veterans Benefits and planned
14on running for Vice-President of the MCC Student Veterans of
15America chapter; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Jason Dahlmann was preceded in death by his
17paternal grandparents, William and Mabel Dahlmann; his
18maternal grandparents, Warren and Pauline Bentley; and his
19aunt, Vernell; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Jason Dahlmann is survived by his parents; his
21sister, Nicole (James) Dahlmann-Kurishingal; his nephew, Jason

1Dahlmann-Kurishingal; his aunts, Pam (Chris) Johnson and Judy
2(Scott) Bentley; his uncles, Virg (Gloria) Dahlmann and Del
3Holtz; his cousins, Tim (Lisa) Arbulu, Billy (Gina) Holtz, Lana
4Holtz-Arrowood, and Pam (Fran) Beres; and his 2 canine
5companions, Bear and Brutus; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
8Jason Robert Dahlmann, and extend our sincere condolences to
9his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
10further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Jason Dahlmann as an expression of
13our deepest sympathy.
