1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to recognize Dale Lilburn on 18 years of
4 service as the CEO of Plymouth Place Senior Living in LaGrange
5 Park, a life care community in the western suburbs of Chicago
6 that provides senior living and care options; and

7     WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn began his career operating and
8 developing life care communities in 1983; he has built
9 leadership teams that have successfully opened and operated
10 communities in Missouri, Illinois, and California; in 1999, he
11 joined Plymouth Place; and

12     WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn was instrumental in the process of
13 building a new Plymouth Place, carrying on the tradition of the
14 organization which was founded in 1944; he has helped develop
15 one of the premier retirement communities in the Chicago area;
16 and

17     WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn received his Bachelor of Science from
18 the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Business and
19 Public Administration and has been a licensed Nursing Home
20 Administrator in three states; he is an active member of
21 national, state, and local organizations that represent and
22 serve seniors; he is a member of the Life Services Network of

1 Illinois' Continuing Care Residential Communities Cabinet and
2 a member of the Leading Age, a national industry association,
3 where he serves on its Public Policy Committee; and

4     WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn has served on the board of directors
5 of the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and is a founding
6 member of the LaGrange Park Chamber of Commerce; and

7     WHEREAS, Dale Lilburn lives in Westmont with his wife,
8 Cindy; therefore, be it

9     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
10 HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
11 recognize Dale Lilburn on 18 years of service as the CEO of
12 Plymouth Place Senior Living, and we wish him the best in all
13 his future endeavors; and be it further

14     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15 presented to Dale Lilburn as an expression of our esteem and
16 respect.
