    Amends the Metro East Police District Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the short title.

1     AN ACT concerning local government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Metro East Police District Act is amended by
5 changing Section 1 as follows:

6     (70 ILCS 1750/1)
7     (Section scheduled to be repealed on December 31, 2019)
8     Sec. 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the~~the~~Metro
9 East Police District Act.
