SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

P.A. 95-982, Sec. 10

Amends "An Act concerning land", Public Act 95-982. Makes a technical change in a Section directing the Director of Corrections to convey certain real estate to Peoria County.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning property.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. "An Act concerning land", amendatory veto overridden September 22, 2008, Public Act 95-982, is amended by changing Section 10 as follows:

(P.A. 95-982, Sec. 10)

Sec. 10. The real estate described in Section 5 is no longer needed by the the State of Illinois. Therefore, the Director of Corrections, on behalf of the State of Illinois and the Department of Corrections, must convey by quit claim deed all right, title, and interest of the State of Illinois and the Department of Corrections in and to the real estate described in Section 5 of this Act to Peoria County at no additional consideration.
