SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John Henry Henske of Litchfield, who
4passed away on October 25, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Henske was born in Hillsboro to Henry Charles
6"Hank" and Mary Marie (Fletcher) Henske on December 4, 1934; he
7graduated from Litchfield High School in 1953 and was a veteran
8of the United States Army; he married Joyce L. Dunaway in
9Litchfield on May 28, 1965; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Henske owned John Henry's Vending & Amusement
11in Litchfield and also operated John Henry's Bar for several
12years; for the past five years, he worked for Action Amusement;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, John Henske was a member of Zion Lutheran Church,
15VFW Post #3912, American Legion Post #436, and Moose Lodge
16#1634; he enjoyed high school sports, raising dogs, and going
17kayaking and canoeing; and
 
18    WHEREAS, John Henske was preceded in death by his parents;
19and his son, John Charles Henske; and
 
20    WHEREAS, John Henske is survived by his wife, Joyce; his

1sons, Todd (Nancy) Henske, Brian (Laura) Henske, Scott Henske,
2and Jason (Jennifer) Henske; his sister, Gloria Jean Glynn; his
3grandchildren, Adam (Margaret) Henske, Amy (David) Down,
4Zachary (Tiffany) Henske, Danny Henske, Matthew Henske, Arthur
5(Paige) Henske, Aaron Henske, and Jenna Henske; and his six
6great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9John Henske and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
10friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of John Henske as an expression of our
13deepest sympathy.
