SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jodi G. Roth of Harvard, who passed away on January 17, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Jodi Roth was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Elmer and May (Brown) Frenk on August 2, 1958; she married Richard O. Roth in Cancun, Mexico on October 4, 1997; and

WHEREAS, Jodi Roth worked for the Alpha Net Foundation; previously she worked as a nurse at Valley Hi Nursing Home in Woodstock with the Alzheimer's patients; and

WHEREAS, Jodi Roth loved riding her Harley and hot rod, hanging out with her grandson, having family time, and playing with her dogs; and

WHEREAS, Jodi Roth was preceded in death by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Jodi Roth is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Cherie (Shalin) (Henning) Patel; her son, Andrew (Ameythst) Roth; her daughter, Amanda Roth; her grandson, Ryan Higgins; her brother, Doug (Mari) Frenk; and her nephew, Maxx Frenk; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jodi G. Roth, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jodi Roth as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
