SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Richard "Dick" Haggard of East Moline,
4who passed away on November 1, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dick Haggard was born in Mercer to Oral and Marie
6Durham Haggard on June 11, 1929; he married Barbara Hutchins in
7VanBuren, Arkansas on March 24, 1951; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Dick Haggard was a United States Army veteran of
9the Korean Conflict; he retired from John Deer Harvester Works;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Dick Haggard was a member of the East Moline
12Foursquare Church; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Dick Haggard was preceded in death by his wife,
14Barbara; his son, Billy; and his siblings, Carolynn, Billy,
15Max, and Dorothy; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Dick Haggard is survived by his children, Johnny
17(Abby) Haggard and E. Joe Haggard; his daughter-in-law, Denise
18Haggard; his grandchildren, Colleen (Nate) Rogers, Jason
19(Luisana) Haggard, Sheena (Bradley) Koebel, Erin Haggard,
20Emily (Jason) Arbogast, and Sean Haggard; his

1great-grandchildren, Max, Eila, Crosby, Bella, Matt, and
2Jillian; and his brother, Jerry (Freeda) Haggard; therefore, be
3it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Richard "Dick" Haggard and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Dick Haggard as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
