SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Robert James Crittendon Jr. of North Chicago, who passed away on November 3, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Rob Crittendon was born in Waukegan to Annie Threats and Robert Crittendon Sr. on February 23, 1966; he graduated from North Chicago Community High School in 1984, where he played basketball; he then attended Suomi College in Hancock, Michigan; he lived in North Chicago for the majority of his life; and

WHEREAS, Rob Crittendon was an avid sports fan and loved the game of basketball; he had a big heart, infectious personality, and brought laughter wherever he went; he took pride in his family, his children, and the community in which he lived; and

WHEREAS, Rob Crittendon was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Threats; and

WHEREAS, Rob Crittendon is survived by his father, Robert (Jackie); his sisters, Rosalyn Neal, Olevia Young (Eric), Tameeka Duster-Kirkland (Tim), and Alicia Carter (Clemmie); his brothers, Cassius Crittendon and Darrin Crittendon; his sons, Zachery Livingston (Marissa) and Deshawn Crittendon; his daughters, Jasmine Crittendon, Ariana Moore, and Destiny Crittendon; and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special grandmother, Mrs. Vina Amlet; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Robert James Crittendon Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Rob Crittendon as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
