SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Timothy Joseph "TJ" Kristan, who passed away on September 20, 2017; and

WHEREAS, TJ Kristan was born to Joe and Judie (Ryan) Kristan on May 9, 1978; he grew up in Beach Park; and

WHEREAS, TJ Kristan began his career at the family business, J&J Powder Coating, when he was 20 and worked there until his passing; and

WHEREAS, TJ Kristan enjoyed watching baseball with his sons, CSI crime shows, and the Food Network; he was a big fan of auto racing, especially sprint car racing, and was his twin brother's number one fan, always cheering him from turn four; he enjoyed riding his Harley with his dad, brother, and friends; he will be remembered for his sense of humor, smile, and laugh; and

WHEREAS, TJ Kristan was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; his uncles, Steve Buckner and Kevin Kristan; his aunt, Kathy Ryan; and his infant cousin, Gavyn Bruce; and

WHEREAS, TJ Kristan is survived by his parents; his son, Anthony Joseph "AJ"; his longtime girlfriend, Shannon Miller and their son, Jackson Reed; his twin brother, Brian (Annalisa) his nieces, Karissa and Kennedi; his special aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his many friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Timothy Joseph "TJ" Kristan and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of TJ Kristan as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
