| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Carol Carter of Beach Park, who passed | 4 | | away on December 22, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Carol Carter was born in Waukegan to Thomas and | 6 | | Dorothy (Hund) Traynor on March 22, 1947; she married Preston | 7 | | Carter on September 25, 1965; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Carol Carter was a homemaker and the bookkeeper | 9 | | for the family business; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Carol Carter was a member of the Zion Moose Lodge, | 11 | | the Zion Kiwanis, the Sierra Club, the Wild Life Foundation, | 12 | | and the Ladies of Harley; she loved her bike trips with the | 13 | | Harley club; she enjoyed cooking and baking, especially baking | 14 | | cupcakes for the neighbor kids; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Carol Carter was preceded in death by her parents; | 16 | | and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Carol Carter is survived by her husband, Preston; | 18 | | her sons, Chris (Michelle) and Rodrick Carter; her | 19 | | grandchildren, Aryanna and Jacob Carter; and her | 20 | | great-grandson, Carter Mattonen; therefore, be it
