SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Elsie Lenora Hall of Creve Coeur, who
4passed away on January 18, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was born in Ruble, Missouri to George
6Thomas and Nellie (Gilmer) Sutton on December 9, 1929; she
7married Charles D. Hall in Harrison, Arkansas on April 17,
81948; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was a homemaker early in her life; she
10then worked at Steak 'n Shake in Pekin and East Peoria; she
11later worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Apostolic
12Christian Restmor in Morton; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Elsie Hall enjoyed playing Bingo and the lottery
14and going out to eat; she was an avid fan of the St. Louis
15Cardinals and a lifelong Democrat; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Elsie Hall was preceded in death by her husband,
17Charles Hall; her parents; her son, Howard Hall; her
18granddaughter, Chrissy Hall; her three brothers; and her
19sister; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Elsie Hall is survived by her sons, Gary (Betty)

1Hall and Charles (Diane) Hall; her daughters, Carol (Terry)
2Dickson, June (Jerry) Gould, Cheryl Shaver, and Brenda Auer;
3her 13 grandchildren; her 12 great-grandchildren; and her
4daughter-in-law, Marilyn Hall; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Elsie Lenora Hall and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Elsie Hall as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
