SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Eola "Birdie" Deppmeier of Johnsburg, who
4passed away on January 9, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was born in Chicago to John and
6Eola Walters on December 10, 1932; she married Henry "Jim"
7Deppmeier on November 7, 1956; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier worked as a medical assistant in
9the office of Dr. P. Narang for many years; she also worked at
10the McHenry Hospital and spent many hours volunteering in the
11emergency room; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was an active member at Chain O'
13Lakes Evangelical Covenant Church in Johnsburg, now Meadowland
14Church; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier was preceded in death by her
16parents; the father that raised her, Willard Hillman; her
17husband, Henry; her brothers, Jim, Jack, Wayne, and Ron; and
18her daughter, Erin Seemann; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Eola Deppmeier is survived by her sons, Brent
20(Suzanne) and Brad (Laura) Deppmeier; her granddaughter, Becky

1Seemann; and many friends and extended family who knew her as
2"Aunt Birdie"; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Eola "Birdie" Deppmeier, and extend our sincere condolences to
6her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
7further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Eola Deppmeier as an expression of
10our deepest sympathy.
