SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ron Chaney of Springfield, who passed away on December 1, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Ron Chaney was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Delis Eugene and Beverly Fern Delos Chaney on January 3, 1961; he married Betty Bunch in June 2016; and

WHEREAS, Ron Chaney worked for A&M Towing and Auto Salvage; and

WHEREAS, Ron Chaney enjoyed listening to country music, working on cars, going to cookouts, and fishing; and

WHEREAS, Ron Chaney was preceded in death by his parents; and his mother-in-law, Ethel Southern; and

WHEREAS, Ron Chaney is survived by his wife, Betty Chaney; his son, Donald Chaney; his granddaughter, Olivia Chaney; his siblings, Ricky, James, Terry, and Cathy Chaney; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ron Chaney and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ron Chaney as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
