SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the deaths of Alaysia, Malaysia, and Amanda Tashae Peacock of Harrisburg on January 31, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Alaysia and Malaysia were born in Marion on October 18, 2003; they attended 8th grade at Harrisburg Middle School, where the participated in softball, basketball, volleyball, and track; and

WHEREAS, Amanda was born in Harrisburg on April 5, 1978; she married Rajah Peacock on February 22, 2002 and worked as a pharmacist at Walmart in Harrisburg and as a clerk at Mach 1; and

WHEREAS, Alaysia, Malaysia, and Amanda were preceded in death by family members, Debra Wilkins, Ollie Henning, Charlotte Taborn, Randall Moss, Walter Moss Jr., and Andrew F. Wilkins II; and

WHEREAS, Alaysia, Malaysia, and Amanda are survived by family members, Rajah Peacock, Don Wilkins, Rajah Peacock Jr., Caden Mitchell, Kyleigh Peacock, Easter Neal, Aaris Kenner, LaDawn Robinson, Tabitha Wilkins, Demia Wilkins, Demeer Wilkins, Lenore Wilkins, Andrew F. Wilkins, Cecil (Doris) Tuner, Lowell (Laura) Moss, William Moss, Winifred Moss, Raymond Moss, Irwin Wilkins, Henry Wilkins, Wiley Wilkins, William Harrison, Remus Henning, Mary Wilkins Miller, April (Al) Scales, Miriam (Delbert) Clingman, Nona Rice, Beverly Sanders, Elizabeth Jones, Toni Henning, Parsetta Saladin, and several other family members; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Alaysia, Malaysia, and Amanda Peacock, and extend our sincere condolences to their family, friends, and all who knew and loved them; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alaysia, Malaysia, and Amanda Peacock as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
