SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Celestine "Tina" Yvonne (Springer)
4Fragassi of Waukegan, who passed away on January 23, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tina Fragassi was born in Waukegan to Herbert and
6Christine Springer on November 22, 1950; she was a lifelong
7resident of Waukegan; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Tina Fragassi worked in Animal Control for the
9City of Waukegan for 27 years and was Chief Animal Warden for
1020 of those years; she was passionate about her profession; her
11astute knowledge and professionalism as Chief Animal Warden
12garnered a great deal of respect from those whom she served;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Tina Fragassi truly enjoyed helping people and was
15well known for her Animal Shelter picnics; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Tina Fragassi was preceded in death by her
17parents; her grandparents, Pinky and Lillie May Graves; and her
18son, Spencer Patrick Evans; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Tina Fragassi is survived by her husband, Mark;
20her children, Edward (Lori) Evans and Renee Pressley; her

1grandchildren, Taili, Kalan, Joshua, Spencer, and Edrienne;
2her siblings, Sandra, Gene, Rita, Tracey, and Christopher; and
3her many nieces, nephews, and good friends; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Celestine "Tina" Yvonne (Springer) Fragassi and extend our
7sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew
8and loved her; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Tina Fragassi as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
