SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Pastor H. Eugene Jones of Waukegan, who passed away on January 20, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones was born in Waukegan on July 2, 1933; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones served his country in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones is survived by his wife; his six sons; his four daughters; his 26 grandchildren; his six sisters; and his many other relatives and dear friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Pastor H. Eugene Jones and send our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Pastor Eugene Jones as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
