SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Deborah Elizabeth Taylor of Chicago, who
4passed away on December 26, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was born in Chicago on the South
6Side to Eugenia and Bradley Taylor on October 14, 1951; she
7attended Doolittle Elementary and Wedell Phillips High School;
8she married Charles Winston II; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was a Muslim who believed in the
10well being of her family members and harmony in relationships;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was a hardworking, dedicated
13member of her community and was never afraid to stand up for
14what she believed was right; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor was preceded in death by her
16parents; her brothers, Brad, James, Ernest, Warden, and David;
17and her sisters, Dorsey and Gene; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Deborah Taylor is survived by her son, Charles
19Winston III (Erika); her daughter, Stacie Winston; her
20grandchildren, Milton Howard, Brianna Winston, Rasheedah

1Echols, Diamond Winston, and Charles Winston IV; her brothers,
2Robert, Darrin, and Clarence; her sisters, Nelma and Denise;
3her four great-grandchildren; and her many other relatives,
4loved ones, and friends; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Deborah Elizabeth Taylor and extend our sincere condolences to
8her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Deborah Taylor as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
