SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Thomas Robert Gibbel of Carlinville, who passed away on January 26, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Tommy Gibbel was born in Litchfield to Eric P. and Alyssa (Crouch) Gibbel on July 15, 2008; and

WHEREAS, Tommy Gibbel's smile was contagious, and his heart was great; his story is inspiring, and his impact is deep; and

WHEREAS, Tommy Gibbel is survived by his parents; his sister, Ryleigh Gibbel; his brother, Andrew Gibbel; his grandparents, Richard and Karen Gibbel and Robert and Brenda Crouch; and his great-grandparents, Dorothy and Marvin Hillebrand; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Thomas Robert Gibbel and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Tommy Gibbel as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
