SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Gerald L. "Jerry" Viscioni of East Moline, who passed away on February 25, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni was born in Moline to Louie and Elsie (Jannsens) Viscioni on December 25, 1949; he served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era; he married Diana G. Howell on August 27, 1971; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni retired from the City of East Moline after 36 years of service; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni enjoyed bowling, rolle bolle, fishing, and working crossword puzzles; he was a fan of Jimmie Johnson NASCAR, the San Francisco 49ers, the Chicago Bears, and the St. Louis Cardinals; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara; and

WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diana; his daughter, Heather (Joe) Sullivan; and his siblings, Thomas (Laura) Viscioni, Patricia (Ron) Thompson, and Michelle Viscioni; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Gerald L. "Jerry" Viscioni and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented tot he family of Jerry Viscioni as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
