SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Guy Raymond Schuetz of Bunker Hill, who passed away on April 26, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Guy Schuetz was born in Shipman to Harold and Agnes (Stouffe) Schuetz on September 23, 1940; he married Delores Jean Throne at St. Denis Church in Shipman on February 27, 1960; and

WHEREAS, Guy Schuetz worked as an adjuster for Olin; and

WHEREAS, Guy Schuetz was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Angie McOwan; his son, Jason Schuetz; his son-in-law, Danny Hanner; his brother, Richard Schuetz; and his sister, Jackie Cox; and

WHEREAS, Guy Schuetz is survived by his wife, Delores; his children, Dee Hanner, Stan (Julie Lemm) Schuetz, and Brian Schuetz; his eight grandchildren; his three step-grandchildren; his five great-grandchildren; and his step-great-grandchild; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Guy Raymond Schuetz and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Guy Schuetz as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
