SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathryn "Kay" (Freedman) Ritter, who passed away on January 1, 2017 at the age of 95; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Ritter was born on April 8, 1921; and

WHEREAS, Kathryn Ritter was the beloved wife of the late Louis Ritter; the loving mother of Gerald (Robin) Ritter, Deborah Ritter, Kenneth (Katherine) Ritter, and Susan Ritter; the cherished grandmother of Cathy, Michael (Vivian), Leah (Ronald), Aaron, Elliott, and Samuel; the adored great-grandmother of Brett, Carson, Logan, and Sophia; and the fond sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kathryn Ritter, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathryn Ritter as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
