| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Micheal Ray Pugh of Milan, who passed | 4 | | away on June 17, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Micheal Pugh was born in Xenia, Ohio to Ronald and | 6 | | Patricia (Fourman) Pugh on January 5, 1958; he graduated from | 7 | | Milton-Union High School in West Milton, Ohio in 1976; he | 8 | | married Janet L. Voss-Bellman in Davenport, Iowa on March 26, | 9 | | 1995; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Micheal Pugh was a 20-year veteran of the U.S. | 11 | | Army; he had tours of duty overseas in Germany, the | 12 | | Netherlands, and Turkey, and even played softball on a NATO | 13 | | team; he retired from active duty in 1996 and worked as a | 14 | | federal civilian employee until retiring in 2014 from the | 15 | | Headquarters, U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Financial | 16 | | Operations Directorate at Rock Island Arsenal; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Micheal Pugh enjoyed watching sports, especially | 18 | | the Ohio teams - the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, | 19 | | Dayton Flyers, and Ohio State; he loved his family, the | 20 | | companionship of his cat, Kitty, and dog, Mya, taking walks | 21 | | outdoors, and listening to music; and

| 3 | | WHEREAS, Micheal Pugh is survived by his wife, Janet; his | 4 | | sisters, Rhonda Amonds and Vicki Quillan; his niece, Michelle | 5 | | Amonds; his son, Nolan Pugh; his daughters, Shanda (Jesse) | 6 | | Wright and Nikki (Jason) Tinnerman; and his grandchildren, | 7 | | Jesse Jr. and Kamryn Wright, Brady, Carter, Dawson, and Ethan | 8 | | Tinnerman, Mason Pugh, Brandon Baze, and Alex and Shelby | 9 | | Charlet; therefore, be it
| 10 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 11 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 12 | | Micheal Ray Pugh, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 13 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 14 | | further
