SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Jean Christen Cimarossa of New
4Berlin, who passed away on February 20, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Jean Cimarossa was born in Ashland to John E.
6and Mary "Maizel" Reiser Christen on December 12, 1926; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Mary Jean Cimarossa retired from St. John's
8Hospital after many years of service as a Cardiovascular
9Secretary; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Mary Jean Cimarossa was a member of Blessed
11Sacrament Church; she enjoyed reading and was very involved in
12her faith and spending time with her family; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Jean Cimarossa was preceded in death by her
14parents and a great-grandson; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Jean Cimarossa is survived by her children,
16John (Marilyn) Cimarossa, Jeannie (Ron) Hipsher, Jim Cimarossa
17(Debbie House), Jan (Michele) Cimarossa, Joe Cimarossa, and
18Carol Cimarossa; the father of her children, Quinto J.
19Cimarossa; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several
20great-great-grandchildren; her sisters, Joan Hartman, and

1Carol Tavernor; her brother, Ted (Wanda) Christen; and several
2nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
5Mary Jean Christen Cimarossa, and extend our sincere
6condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
7her; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Mary Jean Cimarossa as an expression
10of our deepest sympathy.
