1 SENATE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3 learn of the death of Maribeth (Fairchild) Klaman of
4 Springfield, who passed away on February 21, 2017; and

5     WHEREAS, Maribeth Klaman was born in Normal to Ross and
6 Elizabeth Cordis Fairchild on May 25, 1943; and

7     WHEREAS, Maribeth Klaman was preceded in death by her
8 parents; and one great-grandson; and

9     WHEREAS, Maribeth Klaman is survived by four children,
10 Dynell Gaule, Michael (Heather) Gaule, Mitsy (John) Mellor, and
11 Brett Gaule; three siblings, Roger (Linda) Fairchild, John
12 Fairchild, and Phyllis Colgan; 11 grandchildren; six
13 great-grandchildren; and her longtime friend and companion,
14 Joe Mudd; therefore, be it

15     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
16 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
17 Maribeth (Fairchild) Klaman, and extend our sincere
18 condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
19 her; and be it further

20     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to the family of Maribeth Klaman as an expression of
2 our deepest sympathy.
