SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lynnette F. Ludwigsen of Crystal Lake,
4who passed away on February 18, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen was born in Blue Earth,
6Minnesota to Leonard and LaVonne (Olson) Beenken on December 3,
71951; she graduated from Logan High School in LaCrosse
8Wisconsin in 1970 and married Robert W. Ludwigsen in Crystal
9Lake on March 29, 1975; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen received her master's degree
11in education from Northern Illinois University; she first
12taught English at McHenry West High School where she met her
13devoted husband; after spending many years lovingly focused on
14raising her sons, she returned to teaching, first at MCC, then
15at Marian Central High School; she retired after several years
16at Northwood Middle School in Woodstock; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen loved camping and exploring
18the world, particularly scenic Route 66; she had many other
19interests and talents, such as quilting, knitting, arts and
20crafts, gardening, and spending time with her book club; a
21favorite pastime was proudly displaying her handiworks in craft
22shows with her mother; most of all, she enjoyed spending time

1with her loved ones and family members, particularly her
2granddaughters; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen is survived by her parents; her
4husband; her children, Robert L. Ludwigsen and Aaron Ludwigsen;
5two grandchildren, Anya and Annabelle Ludwigsen; three
6sisters, Sheryl Beenken Wohlf, Mary (Douglas) Leifheit, and
7Debra (William) Craig; three nieces, Rachael (Pierre)
8Letourneau, Emily Wohlf, and Nicole Leifheit; a nephew Paul
9(Holly) Leifheit; her uncles, Terry and Darwin Olson; her
10unofficial daughter, Jennifer Boksa Ludwigsen; many cousins;
11and her special friend, confidant, and caretaker, Betty Jean
12Stoltze; therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15Lynnette F. Ludwigsen, and extend our sincere condolences to
16her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
17further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Lynnette Ludwigsen as an expression
20of our deepest sympathy.
