SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Lillian R. Hervert of Bull Valley, who
4passed away on March 4, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was born in Chicago to Rose
6(Masek) and Frank Rezabek on June 23, 1921; her childhood was
7rich in Czech heritage; she graduated from Riverside Brookfield
8High School and was voted most artistic by her class; she
9married George Hervert in Dr. Preston Bradley's study in The
10Peoples Church of Chicago on November 23, 1946; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was a talented artist; she
12excelled in drawing, painting, and sculpture; she was a
13lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a master gardener; she
14enjoyed horseback riding and created a natural landscape at her
15home; she served on the Village of Bull Valley Planning
16Commission and was a member of the Bull Valley Garden Club; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert was preceded in death by her
18husband and her sister Esther (George) Cleland; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Lillian Hervert is survived by her children, Jan
20(Judy) Hervert, Jean (David) Niemann, and Ken (Karen) Hervert;
21and her five grandchildren, Bryce, Erik, and Alyssa Hervert,

1Carl Niemann and Heather (Lane) Hamilton; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Lillian R. Hervert, and extend our sincere condolences to her
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Lillian Hervert as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
