SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry Gene Mohr of Bunker Hill, who passed away on March 12, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Larry Mohr was born on October 15, 1942 in Carlinville to George Harrison and LaVerne Dankenbring Mohr; he married Carole Schaller at the Zion Lutheran Church in Bunker Hill on July 15, 1967; and

WHEREAS, Larry Mohr was the owner and operator for Brittany Shooting Park; he was also a journeyman, machinist, and farmer; and

WHEREAS, Larry Mohr was a member of the NRA, the Amateur Trap Shooting Association, and Quail Forever; he was a life member of the Illinois State Trap Shooting Association; and

WHEREAS, Larry Mohr was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Larry Mohr is survived by his wife, Carole; his daughters, Michelle Mueller, and Susan Fite; his grandchildren, Lauren Mueller, Jacob Mueller, Sophia Fite, and Austin Fite; and his siblings, Keith and Ricky Mohr; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Larry Gene Mohr, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Mohr as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
