SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Marvin Raymond Siemer of Rockbridge, who
4passed away on March 15, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Marvin Siemer was born in Batchtown to Raymond and
6Marguerite (Snyders) Siemer on July 12, 1937; he married Alice
7(Scott) Siemer in Shipman on December 19, 1959; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Marvin Siemer was a Union Machinist for
9Owens-Illinois; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Marvin Siemer was preceded in death by his
11parents; his brother, Edward Siemer; and his sister, Vanita
12Kern; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Marvin Siemer is survived by his wife, Alice; his
14daughter, Carmen (Kevin) Sanders; his sons, Ronald (Myra)
15Siemer, Timothy (Teresa) Siemer, and James (Melody); his
16grandchildren, Allie Humes, Benjamin Siemer, Amy (Michael)
17Niebrand, Derek (Sarah) Siemer, Jennifer (Josh) Arnold,
18Danielle Siemer, and Courtney (Nick) Powell; his
19great-grandchildren, Addison Grace Arnold, Ethan Niebrand,
20Evon Niebrand, Dawson Siemer, Briant Arnold, and Keaton Siemer;
21his sister, Evelyn (Gary) Bechel; and his brother, Gerald

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Marvin Raymond Siemer, and extend our sincere condolences to
5his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Marvin Siemer as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
