SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ugo Marino Dallabattista of Lake Bluff, who passed away on March 24, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Ugo Dallabattista was born in Serra Valle Po, Piemonte, Italy to Renzo Dallabattista and Maria Previdi on January 17, 1941; he served in the Italian Army and married Piervittoria Fusaro in Vercelli, Italy on August 30, 1964; and

WHEREAS, Ugo Dallabattista immigrated to the United States in 1972 coming to Highwood; he was a well-known commercial and residential painter, and decorator; and

WHEREAS, Ugo Dallabattista was a member of the Highwood Bocce Ball Club and was the proud master of his two dogs Max and Bear; and

WHEREAS, Ugo Dallabattista was the beloved husband of Piervittoria; the loving father of Mauro (Sheryl) Dallabattista, and Christiana (Daniel) Conforti; the Fond nonno of Gabriella, Daniella, Sofia, Sabrina, Jeremy, and Alexander Conforti; the dear brother of Luciana Dallabattista, Carmen Dallabattista, and the late Vanda Dallabattista; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ugo Marino Dallabattista, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ugo Dallabattista as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
