| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Rose Mary Weingart of McHenry, who passed | 4 | | away on March 15, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rose Weingart was born in Northbrook to William F. | 6 | | and Pauline B. (Happ) Selzer on August 23, 1924 and grew up in | 7 | | Crystal Lake; she married Donald P. Weingart at St. Thomas of | 8 | | the Apostle Catholic Church in Crystal Lake on October 5, 1946; | 9 | | and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Rose Weingart had a lifelong interest in cooking, | 11 | | baking, sewing, and the occasional debate; in her earlier | 12 | | years, she devotedly attended her grandchildren's many | 13 | | sporting events and enjoyed her exercise group, dominoes, card | 14 | | clubs, and vacations to Sayner, Wisconsin with her family and | 15 | | friends; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Rose Weingart was preceded in death by her | 17 | | parents; her siblings, Lawrence, Norie, Richard, Francis, | 18 | | Edward, Eleanor Aufderheide, Loretta Anderson, and Angeline | 19 | | Raycraft; and her son-in-law, David S. Diedrich; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Rose Weingart is survived by her husband of 70 | 21 | | years, Donald; her children, Alan (Mary) Weingart, Karen |
