SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ann M. Perolio of Alton, who passed away on April 7, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Ann Perolio was born in Alton to William and Mary (Wohnlich) Moylan on November 9, 1926; she married Eugene J. Perolio at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Alton on November 27, 1947; and

WHEREAS, Ann Perolio was employed as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville; she later worked for many years as a probation officer for Madison County until her retirement; and

WHEREAS, Ann Perolio was a longtime member of Ss. Peter and Paul Proto-Cathedral Church in Alton, where she was active in the Alton Society; and

WHEREAS, Ann Perolio was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; her sister, Mary Ellen Vasquez; her brothers, William and Franklin Moylan; and her grandson, Anthony Perolio; and

WHEREAS, Ann Perolio is survived by her children, Steve Perolio, Mary Wiseman, and Carol Perolio; her grandchildren, Andrea Perolio, Adam Perolio, Amy Finazzo, Andrew Wiseman, and Ashley Wiseman; her great-grandchildren, Cameron Finazzo, Grace Wiseman, and Adele Wiseman; and other extended family and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ann M. Perolio, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann Perolio as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
