SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Madeline H. "Maddie" Finch of Pleasant Plains, who passed away on May 7, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Madeline Finch was born to Richard Finch and Courtney Scheller-Allmon on May 15, 2000; she attended Auburn High School and then New Berlin High School her sophomore year, where she was a cheerleader and on the honor roll; and

WHEREAS, Madeline Finch worked as a hostess for Bella Milano along with her sisters; and

WHEREAS, Madeline Finch enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising Labrador's with her dad; she was a member of Cherry Hills Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Madeline Finch was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Finch, and her great-grandparents, Gilbert and Shirley Scheller, Freda and Richard Brown, Estelle "Mam" Meister, and Gertrude and Raymond Finch; and

WHEREAS, Madeline Finch is survived by her father, Richard (Tracy) Finch; her mother, Courtney (Jim) Allmon; her siblings, Gabrielle Allmon, Haley Scheller, Isabelle Allmon, Abigail, Savannah and Fallan Finch, and Sydney and Gracie Bieneman; her grandparents, Truman (Jill) Scheller, Dana (Steve Schmidt) Scheller, and Donna (Doug) Gerdes Finch; and many cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Madeline H. "Maddie" Finch, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Madeline Finch as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
