SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Kenneth Wilcox of Lincolnshire and Lake Forest, who passed away on May 15, 2017 at the age of 81; and

WHEREAS, John Wilcox is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Helen; his children, Patti (Greg) Vollmer, John (Lori), Jim (Katie), and Jeff (Kelly); his grandchildren, Katie (Ben) Mitchell, Erin Vollmer, and John, Rachel, Megan, Tim, Trey, Anna, and Robbie Wilcox; his great-grandchild, Lena Mitchell; his sisters, Diane Wilcox and Lenore Wilcox; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Kenneth Wilcox, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Wilcox as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
