SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph C. Pugliese of Vernon Hills, who
4passed away on May 20, 2017 at the age of 93; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Pugliese served in the military during
6World War II and the Korean War; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Joseph Pugliese was preceded in death by his
8beloved wife, LaVerne; his children, David and Stephen; his
9brother, Thomas; and his sister, Mary; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Joseph Pugliese is survived by his children,
11Joseph (Karen), Teresa (Daniel) Hiatt, Patricia (Robert)
12Welch, Paula (Thomas) Sandberg, James (Lisa), Mary Hertz,
13Daniel (Kristin), and Michael; his grandchildren, Nicholas
14(Kathleen), David (Mellina), Anna (Donald), Ellen, Margaret
15(Thomas), Sam (Megan), Andy, Max, Alexander, Jocelyn, Nolan,
16Traci (Brian), Brittany (Joe), Jordan, Caitlyn (Ben), Andrew,
17Maureen (John), Olivia, Amanda, Daniel, Ericka, Bret, Bennett,
18and Jora; and his great-grandchildren, Alexis, Madeline,
19Oliver, Colette, Amelie, Keller, Jacob, Cormack, Joseph,
20Michael, and Hayes; therefore, be it
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Joseph C. Pugliese, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Joseph Pugliese as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
