SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Suzanne Marie (Heller) Ettlinger of
4Highland Park; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Suzanne Ettlinger was born in 1924; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Suzanne Ettlinger was co-founder of Dance
7Horizons; she was a patron of the arts and a founding member of
8Congregation Hakafa; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Suzanne Ettlinger was a pioneer in modern dance
10and an inspiration to generations of dancers; she was an
11athlete and a passionate golfer; she carried her love of
12movement, family, and art throughout her entire life and will
13be deeply missed; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Suzanne Ettlinger was preceded in death by her
15beloved husband, Edward "Ted" Ettlinger; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Suzanne Ettlinger is survived by her children,
17Peter (Sally) Ettlinger and Judi (Carl Gardeman) Ettlinger; her
18grandchildren, Katherine (Eric) Dublis, Daniel (Wazira Al
19Mohamadi) Ettlinger, Jacob (Lainie) Ettlinger, Lita Jackson,
20and Kelsey Ettlinger; and her great-grandchildren, Yusuf and

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Suzanne Marie Ettlinger, and extend our sincere condolences to
5her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Suzanne Ettlinger as an expression
9of our deepest sympathy.
