SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Marguerite B. "Peggy" Pesavento of Lockport, who passed away on May 20, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Pesavento was born in Oak Park and had lived in Lockport since 1933; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Pesavento was a member of St. Dennis Church in Lockport, where she was involved with the Altar and Rosary Society; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Pesavento enjoyed monthly gatherings with her club girls, who were her lifelong friends, but most of all, she cherished time spent with her family; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Pesavento was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Pesavento; her parents, John and Helen (Finnegan) Keenan; her brothers, Dan (Fran) Moloney and Jack Keenan; her sisters, Bernadette (Don) Clark and Helen (Sandy) Hull; and her uncle and aunt, Ed and Mae Brennan; and

WHEREAS, Marguerite Pesavento is survived by her children, Mary Ann (Scott) Furlane, Joseph (Nancy), Lisa (Mike) Latino, Dan (Laura), Michael, Patrick (Jacqualyne), and Paul (Hillary) Pesavento; her grandchildren, Ashley (Kevin) Koney, Casey and Kyle Furlane, Chad Pesavento, Nicole (Anthony) Carli, Diane Latino, Laurenn (Brian) York, Ryan Jarema, Zack and Josh Pesavento, Peyton and Tyler Pesavento, and Hanna Pesavento; her great-grandchildren, Connor Creed, Colton Carli, and Anna and Abby Koney; her brothers, Joe (Ruth Ann) and Frank Keenan; and numerous nephews and nieces; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Marguerite B. "Peggy" Pesavento, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Marguerite Pesavento as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
