SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John E. Adamich, who passed away on May
420, 2017 at the age of 85; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Adamich graduated from Joliet Township High
6School in 1948; he served in the United States Marine Corps
7from 1949 to 1952, achieving the rank of sergeant; and
 
8    WHEREAS, John Adamich was employed at Commonwealth Edison
9in the overhead department for 38 years, retiring in 1989; and
 
10    WHEREAS, John Adamich was an active member of the
11International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and various
12labor organizations throughout Will County and the State; and
 
13    WHEREAS, John Adamich enjoyed the outdoors, fishing,
14hunting, golfing, and camping; he loved spending time with his
15family and friends and coached Little League Baseball for over
1620 years; and
 
17    WHEREAS, John Adamich was preceded in death by his loving
18wife, Loretta (Schwab) Adamich; his parents, John and Catherine
19(Reibel) Adamich; and his stepmother, Cele (Heferle) Adamic;

1    WHEREAS, John Adamich is survived by his loving children,
2Jack (Anna) Adamic, Kathleen (Tony) Costa, and Mary Adamic; his
3cherished grandchildren, Erin (Scott) Foat, John (Kelly
4Spitzner) Adamic, and Anthony and Christopher Costa; his
5dearest great-grandchildren, Dylan and Brooklynn Foat; his
6brother, Joseph (Joan) Adamic; his stepmother, Joanna Adamic;
7and numerous uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore,
8be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11John E. Adamich, and extend our sincere condolences to his
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of John Adamich as an expression of our
16deepest sympathy.
