SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Fred Joe Clark of Hampton, who passed
4away on May 30, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Clark was born in Waukee, Iowa to Robert and
6Ruth Keyes Clark; he served in the United States Navy during
7the Korean War; he married Augusta "Kay" Liggett in 1979; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Fred Clark was an inspector at Frank Foundries in
9Moline until its closure; he then worked at Blackhawk Foundry
10in Davenport, Iowa; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Fred Clark was preceded in death by his parents;
12his wife, Kay; his infant brother, William Lee Clark; and his
13brother, Robert "Ike" Clark; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Fred Clark is survived by his son, Darryl Clark;
15his stepchildren, Pam Smith, Pat Vermeire, Robert Scudder Jr.,
16and James L. Scudder; his brothers, Dean Clark, Ralph (Jo)
17Clark, William (Ellie) Clark, and Tommy Clark; and numerous
18nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that him mourn the passing

1of Fred Joe Clark, and extend our sincere condolences to his
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
5presented to the family of Fred Clark as an expression of our
6deepest sympathy.
