SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Howard W. Silverblatt of McHenry, who passed away on June 10, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt was born to Charles "Chuck" and Ellen Silverblatt on April 22, 1953 and grew up in Palatine; he married Peggy McKinney in 1988 and they settled in McHenry; and

WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt worked at Sports Center of Richmond; and

WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt was involved in youth Boy Scouts and Indian Princesses; he attended all his children's sporting events and concerts and volunteered at church and school; and

WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt is survived by his wife of 29 years, Peggy; his children, Scott and Kimberly (Andy) Strombach; his siblings, Tom (Linda) Silverblatt, Sue (Bob) McCorkle, and Tara; and his parents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Howard W. Silverblatt, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Howard Silverblatt as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
