SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Norma G. Green of Pawnee, who passed away
4on January 9, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Norma Green was born in Chesterfield to Paul E.
6and Laura T. Wilson Edwards on May 31, 1931; she married
7Darrell L. Green at her parents' home in Pawnee on December 13,
81952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Norma Green worked in the chemical lab at Sangamon
10Electric in Springfield for 11 years; she enjoyed being a mom
11and a grandma; she was a fabulous cook and enjoyed church
12activities, going out to eat, and shopping with friends;
13everyone was always welcome at her home and she was a great
14friend to all; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Norma Green was a member of the Faith Baptist
16Church in Divernon; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Norma Green was preceded in death by her parents;
18her husband, Darrell; and her sister, Jeri Allen; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Norma Green is survived by her daughter, Patty A.
20(Randy) Williams; her son, Larry L. Green; her grandchildren,

1Mitchell (Katelyn) and Melissa S. Williams; her brother, Paul
2Edwards Jr.; her sister, Cellie M. Howard; her brother-in-law,
3Bill Allen; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Norma G. Green, and extend our sincere condolences to her
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Norma Green as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
