SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dr. William W. "Bill" Busch Jr. of McHenry, who passed away on July 1, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Busch was born in Lincoln to William Sr. and Gladys (Carlson) Busch on April 7, 1947 and grew up in Arlington Heights; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Busch practiced dentistry in McHenry and Woodstock for 39 years; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Busch was an avid golfer and enjoyed target practice at the gun range; he loved electronic gadgets and watching his TV shows, especially with company beside him; he treasured traveling with his wife to visit family around the world; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Busch was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Christopher; and

WHEREAS, Dr. Busch is survived by his wife of almost 47 years, Jane; his daughters, Jessica, Jillian, and Bethany; his sons-in-law, George and Mark; and his grandchildren, Kaius and Kira-Sophie and Austen, August "Gus", and Willa Kate; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dr. William W. "Bill" Busch Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dr. Busch as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
