SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dale H. Bixenmann of Rockdale, who passed away on July 8, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Dale Bixenmann was born in Wein, Missouri in 1934; and

WHEREAS, Dale Bixenmann retired from the International Union Of Operating Engineers Local 150; he was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale; and

WHEREAS, Dale Bixenmann was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene (Cassem) Bixenmann; his parents, Ben and Katharyn Bixenmann; his brothers, Leland (Lois) and Glen Bixenmann; his sister, Anita Mae (Tony) Morrison; his in-laws, Palmer and Genevieve Cassem; his brother-in-law, Jerry (Ruby) Cassem; and his dear friends, Alvin and Maxine Nannemann; and

WHEREAS, Dale Bixenmann is survived by his son, Stephen (Donna) Bixenmann; his daughter, Lynn (Mike) Blaser; his grandchildren, Breanne, Kevin (Marie), Eryn (Erik), and Michael; his great-grandchildren, Chloe, Alyssa, Orion, and Damian; his brother-in-law, Mike (Carol) Cassem; his dear family friend, Mary Lou Seeley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dale H. Bixenmann, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dale Bixenmann as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
