SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Bryce Lyn Volkmar of Patoka, who passed away on July 23, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Volkmar was born in Greenville to Crystal Ennen and Jerad Volkmar on August 28, 2006; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Volkmar had a gentle smile that could melt the hearts of those around him; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Volkmar possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges; and

WHEREAS, Bryce Volkmar is survived by his mother, Crystal Ennen (Matt Leidner); his father, Jerad (Jamie) Volkmar; his sister, Aubree Jade; his half-brother, Caleb Volkmar; his step-sisters, Mackenzie and Alissa Adams; his grandparents, Sharon and Dennis Hustedde, Doug Ennen, and Phyllis and Shane Irvin; his great-grandparents, Dorothy Pollmann, Wilma Volkmar, and Viola Ennen; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Bryce Lyn Volkmar, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bryce Volkmar as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
